Greetings

Hello to you all in Cyberspace, This is dave typing to you from a little house in Manchester, thought i would start doing a blog and then let the other members get to grips with it also, so they can tell you about whats happening in the World of Victorian Dad . Well if you have never heard of us before or just happened to Stumble upon us then well done, pat on the back, you can visit our myspace to listen to the tunes www.myspace.com/victoriandaad and enjoy the expereince, up there at the moment is a few songs from our 1st Ever album which is due out early next year at somepoint, its called " The Thin Thread " and we cant wait till it is released on ( Skinny Dog Records ). We have just played at the Dancehouse in Manchester for DEBT RECORDS and it was a blinding gig, a really really really Big Stage, prob the biggest ive played on yet and it was like being in a different world, you could only see about the first 2 rows of people then just Blackness, the crowd were well up for it, cheering and all, brilliant times indeed, and i got to almost get on my knees for a big Guitar solo in the song Everyone's Eyes",always wanted to do that" Thanks to all who made it possible i think Debt Records are onto something very Special indeed, watch this space as they say?

Next up for victorian dad is a few gigs around Manchester at the SAKI BAR tomorrow 7pm free and at The Tudor House ( Wigan ) on friday 13th November,

Free also!
we are also Supporting the band sleepy sun @ The Retro Bar in Manchester on December the 8th which i cant wait for, there from San Fran and there in to Spindrift/dead medow which i couldnt beleive as i saw Spindrift in Texas on 2007 and was blown away, there music is right up our alley.. come along if you can for a great musical experience... after that Europe Beckons till Mid january... till next time xx David VD ..small world!
